Teaching steps:
Warming up:
1. T: Say hello/hi/good morning to students.
2. T and Ss do together. Hi, hi, hi, I say hello, you say hi: Hello, hello, hello, I say hi, you say hello.
Step 1设疑自探
1. Look at the pictures, what do you want to ask?
(1) Who are they?
(2) What are they doing?
(3) How can we greet somebody?
2. 自探提示: Talk
(1) Listen to the tape.
(2) Read the text by yourselves, try to find the answers.
(3) Exchange your ideas and talk about your questions in groups.
Step 2 解疑合探
1. Let's show your answers.
(1) The boy is Tom. Read one by one.
(2) The girl is Eve. Read in this group.
(3) They are greeting each other: Tom, Tom, Tom. Eve, Eve, Eve.
2. Look at the pictures, practice in pairs like this.
3. Greet any student in class.

4. Let’s chant.
— Hello, ***!
