1 . Timo Halla is a 13-year-old boy. He is     1     (来自) Finland. His parents and he live in Helsinki, Finland. Every Tuesday, he usually gets up at 7:40. After     2     (早餐), he     3     (步行) to school, because his home is very close to the school. His school     4     (开始) at 9:00. He has one     5     (芬兰语) lesson and two home economics     6     (课) in the morning. He has lunch at 12:00.

The afternoon lessons begin at 12:30 and     7     (结束) at 2:15.Then he goes to his     8     (冰球) club. He usually gets home around 4:00. He often     9     (吃) dinner at 6:00. After dinner, he reads with his parents and then he     10     (准备) his schoolbag for the next day. At 9:30, he goes to bed.

4 . Liu Yan is a teacher in a middle school.     1     Her son’s name is Wang Hao. He is thirteen. Her daughter’s name is Wang Rui. She is only seven. Today is September 10th.     2     It’s Teachers’ Day, too.

In the morning, Liu Yan, her daughter and her son go to a store and buy some things. Liu Yan buys a red skirt and a big birthday cake for her daughter.     3     What about her son? He buys a watch for his mother.

    4     Her students come to the party. They say “Happy birthday!” to Wang Rui and say “Happy Teachers’ Day!” to Liu Yan.     5    

After that, Liu Yan’s daughter gives the card she buys to her mother. It says “Thanks, Mom. Happy Teachers’ Day to you!” When Liu Yan sees the card, she is very happy.
