本单元是陕旅版三年级下册第七单元，本课时是本单元第2课时，包含一个听力、一个填空和一个对话，主题是通过照片向朋友介绍自己的宠物和猜测对方的宠物是什么。
学习了宠物名称dog, rabbit, fish及相关动词run, jump, swim，也练习了对话句型Does it have...?及其回答Yes, it does./ No, it doesn't。
本课时孩子们学习了关于宠物名称、动作的词汇及对话。本节课主题是用不同句型谈论或猜测宠物及其特征，孩子们可以在上一课时的基础上，进一步巩固和拓展相关词汇和句型。
孩子们对本节课内容有一定基础，能较容易地接受新知识，教师能较容易地调动课堂气氛。

3. Help the squirrel go home
T: Look, there is a little squirrel. It wants to go home, but it has to break the stones. Let's help it!
