本单元是陕旅版三年级下册第二单元，本课时是本单元第4课时，教材分析
学情分析包含Funtime板块，围绕猴子捞月亮的故事展开，利用核心句型My arms are short. I have long arms. I have long legs.进一步复习巩固对外貌特征描述的句型和词汇。
这是本单元的第4课时内容，在前面三个课时词汇和核心句型的学习之后，以故事的形式来运用身体部位词汇及相关核心句型，故事比较生动有趣，学生在特定的情境下，对故事的猴子进行外貌特征描述。
另外，在核心句型的辅助下，学生们对故事情节进行还原表演，极大的增加学生学习兴趣。

2.能够在情景中理解、会说：This is the moon. That is the moon, too. My arms are short. I have long arms. I have long legs.
3.能够对故事细节进行描述，并利用核心句型和词汇，展现故事内容。

设计意图：以猜谜的形式，提升课堂的神秘感，并利用猴子的信息，快速起到复习重要词汇的作用。
