Text 1: My New School
Hi! My name is John. I am a new student at Greenfield Primary School. I just moved here with my family. As a sixth grader, I feel excited and a bit nervous about starting at a new school.

On my first day, I met my class teacher, Miss Rose. She is friendly and welcoming. She introduced me to my classmates, who were also very nice. There are 35 students in my class, and we have a spacious classroom with colorful displays on the walls.

The school has great facilities, including a library, a computer room, and a science lab. I am particularly interested in the science lab because I love doing experiments. The school also has a big playground where we can play football, basketball, and other sports during breaks.

As for the lessons, we have a wide range of subjects, such as English, Chinese, math, science, sports, music, and art. I enjoy learning English the most because it is a global language. I find it fascinating to learn about different cultures and communicate with people from around the world.

At Greenfield Primary School, we also have various extracurricular activities. I have joined the chess club and the school choir. These activities help me make friends and acquire new skills outside of the classroom.

Overall, my new school life at Greenfield Primary School has been wonderful. I am grateful for the warm welcome I received from both teachers and classmates. I am looking forward to the exciting learning journey ahead and making lasting memories at my new school.
