本单元A：Let'stalk部分由Mike和ZhangPeng参观恐龙博物馆这一线索，引出句子“That\sthetallestdinosaurinthishall.”然后通过比较恐龙的高度，引出句子：“It\stallerthanbothofustogether.”最后通过谈论对方的身高引出一组问答句：“Howtallareyou?I'm1.65meters.”B:Let'stalk部分则是通过Mike和WuYifan试穿徒步鞋这一线索，引出句子：“What sizeareyour shoes?Your feetarebiggerthanmine.Myshoesaresize37.”接着通过谈论体重这一话题，引出句子：“Howheavyareyou?I'm48kilograms.\
Let'slearn部分主要学习一些形容词的比较级：younger，older，taller，shorterlonger, thinner, heavier, bigger, amaller, stronger 。Let'swrapitup部分是先让学生通过朗读、比较的方式总结形容词比较级的变化规律，再通过书写的方式将所学的规律运用于实际操练中。另外，教材还设计了许多活动，如：Do a surveyandreport部分让学生通过问卷调查的方式操练所学句型；Matchand say部分让学生通过观察连线的方式操练所学句型。这些丰富有趣的活动，都来源于学生的生活实际，使学生能在轻松愉悦的环境中体会学习语言、运用语言的乐趣。单元教学目标
1.学习对一些事物进行比较的句子：That'sthetallestdinosaurinthishall.It'stallerthan both of us together.Your feet are bigger than mine.学习问答关于身高、体重及鞋码的句子：Howtall areyou?I'm1.65meters.Howheavyareyou?I'm48kilograms.What size are your shoes? Your feet are bigger than mine. My shoes are size 372.能掌握四会单词：younger,older，taller,shorter,longer，thinner,heavier,bigger，amaller,stronger
3.能听、说、认读单词：dinosaur,hall,meter，than,both,kilogram，countryside,lower，shadow, smarter.
4.会唱歌曲Mysmallcat。5.能听懂、会说PartA、B中let'stalk、let'slearn中呈现的对话，并能在实际中得以运用。
